CWC Helpline launched for the self employed.
Cambridgeshire Workplace Chaplaincy has recognised a need for a helpline, particularly for the many self employed who are finding life extremely difficult at the moment. The day to day adjustments that need to be made are very stressful which when combined with the significant reduction and for many the complete lack of income will be causing extreme levels of stress.
As there are many sources of practical and financial help available, our helpline will offer a listening ear and emotional support only. The service will start on Monday April 6 and will be available during the hours of 9-5 Monday to Friday.
Our service is offering emotional support only; and the chaplain you speak to may refer you to other sources of support/organisations. All calls are anonymous and our multifaith chaplains are a diverse group who are happy to provide support regardless of whether you’re spiritual or religious – their aim is to listen and comfort.
